Terms of use

1. Who we are

SubCoach is offered by WEB Vlaanderen Comm V., Petrus Jozef Triesthof 26, 9050 Gentbrugge, BELGIUM, enterprise number BE0671.846.150. By creating an account or using SubCoach, you accept these terms.

2. The service

SubCoach lets you upload, record, tag, time and share videos. We may improve, change or remove features. For important changes that affect you, we'll let you know in advance.

3. Your account

Keep your password to yourself and give correct details. You're responsible for what happens with your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else is using it. Children under 13 need a parent or guardian to create or approve their account.

4. Your content

Your videos and tags remain yours. You give us permission to store, convert, compress and show them only to provide SubCoach to you and to the people you share with.

You promise that:

  • you may upload the videos and that the people in them, or their parents or guardians for minors, agree to it;
  • your content doesn't break the law or anyone's rights, and isn't offensive or harmful.

We may remove content or block an account that breaks these rules, after warning you where possible.

5. Sharing and embedding

You decide who sees your videos. When you turn on embedding for a video, anyone with the embed link can watch it and its tags. Turn embedding off to stop that.

6. Plans and storage

The Free plan includes 1 GB of storage and a small number of athletes and teams. Paid plans for coaches and athletes offer more storage, athletes, teams and assistant coaches, billed monthly or yearly (yearly costs 10 times the monthly price: 2 months free). The Federation plan is priced on request. Athletes of a coach on Coach Standard or Pro get Athlete Standard at no cost while they are linked to that coach. The current plans and prices are on the pricing page. When you reach a limit, you can't add more until you make room or upgrade. Your existing videos remain available.

6a. Payment, renewal and cancellation

  • Payments are handled by our payment provider Mollie. Paid plans renew automatically for the same period (a month or a year) and are charged with the payment method you used, until you cancel.
  • You can cancel at any time on your account page. You keep your plan until the end of the period you paid for; then your account moves to the Free plan. Paid periods are not refunded, except as described below.
  • Upgrading takes effect immediately. The unused part of your current period (its price × the share of the period that is left) is deducted from the price of the new plan, and the new plan starts a new period that day. Credit that is left over is deducted from your next payment.
  • Downgrading, or switching between monthly and yearly billing on the same plan, takes effect at your next renewal.
  • Prices include VAT. If you pay as a company from another EU country and your VAT number is confirmed by the EU VAT register (VIES), we charge the price without VAT and the VAT is reverse charged: your company accounts for it. You're responsible for giving correct company details.
  • If a renewal can't be charged, you have 14 days to pay. After that, your account moves to the Free plan.
  • Right of withdrawal: as a consumer you can withdraw from a new paid plan within 14 days of buying it, without giving a reason, by contacting us. Because you asked for the plan to start immediately, we refund what you paid minus the part for the days you already used.

7. Availability and backups

We do our best to keep SubCoach available and your data safe, but we can't guarantee that the service will always be available or free of errors. Keep your own copy of videos that are important to you.

8. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damage, such as lost data, lost profit or missed opportunities. Our liability is in any case limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the damage. These limits don't apply in case of intent or gross negligence, and don't affect your rights as a consumer.

9. Ending

You can stop using SubCoach at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may end or suspend an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms.

10. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. We'll tell you about important changes in advance. If you keep using SubCoach after that, the new terms apply.

11. Applicable law

These terms fall under Belgian law. Disputes go to the courts of the district of our registered office, unless the law gives you as a consumer the right to go to another court.
